So that was a bit of a whirlwind..... In January, I took the plunge and resigned my 20 year career as an audiologist. It was a tough decision and I'll be honest, I agonised over it.... FOR FIVE YEARS!!!!! Yes, it really did take me that long. Looking back did I wait too long? No, I think my decison came at the pefect time. Within a couple of weeks of resigning, the company was sold and people jokingly asked had I had a psychic revelation it was coming? (I hadn't) But of course, I am sure for the people remaining there, the future is looking good, albeit a few teething problems initially as they swap from one system to another. I left that job 2 months ago and it has been a very freeing feeling. Waking up on a morning, I still occasionally think... which clinic am I working in today? And then I realise I don't have to go to any of them! 😊 I have had a good rest and decompressed. Getting a car was a major investment I hadn't had to consider for 20 years but that is sorte...
